I had the pleasure of volunteering at Children’s Storybook Garden’s monthly Workday on Saturday. It was only two hours, but it was rewarding. Volunteers cleaned garden beds, installed solar lights, transplanted roses, and much more. There were even tasks the children were able to do.
I was impressed with the turnout of volunteers from out military. And they all worked hard!
Volunteer work day is the 1st Saturday of each month! 8-10am. I hope to see you at the next one!!
